This is Anchorage's newest community effort to help the folks who live, and often die, outside in our city. It's controversial on many fronts. I understand Seattle has a similar project which has a lot of success. Since I
recently wrote about the struggle of urban Natives, it might be of interest to others who follow the topic. As Blessed Kateri is being formally canonized this year, and we can join our prayers with hers for real and lasting change in the lives of Alaskans.
